To be fair there are some aspects of rosegarden and musescore that are better than finale in terms of note entering in very specific cases (prefer musescore vs rosegarden), but on the whole, I much prefer working with finale (can't afford Sibelius) Musescore is a really marvellous effort, but I find that it pales in comparison to Finale or Sibelius.

However, for music production it is totally a no-go. I use linux at work, and ubuntu for my main desktop os. the only thing Windows does better is Crossfire.This is nothing but Open Source FUD and hyperbole. NTFS, HFS, HFS+, ext2, ext3, ext4, ReiserFS, etc. OSX can read NTFS drives/partitions but cannot write NTFS.

Windows 7 cannot be installed in GPT harddrives. Microsoft Keyboards & Mouse are the best in the world. I want to buy a new Microsoft combo, but the looks of the new 3000 i dont like. I have Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 1000 & Wireless Optical Mouse 2000. Genius, Logitech, a million times more than eSenses. They last 100x times more than the competition. the only thing Microsoft does better it's the Keyboards & Mouse.

If someone spends $200million dollars in a super computer. 95% of the TOP500 super computers in the world use Linux.
